Best Relationship Advice from Demi Lovato
Singer, actor, and The X Factor mentor-judge Demi Lovato is one busy lady. Her image is set to appear on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s August 2013 issue and while getting ready for the photo shoot, Demi talks about her unforgettable relationship advice she has ever received.
Here are some of what Demi dished about how to keep a romantic relationship:
“Never try to make anyone jealous.” – Jealousy can be a real relationship killer, even if you claim that you have set paramaters about the openness of the relationship with your partner. There is a difference between being friendly with the opposite sex and just plain flirting, but such lines can become blurry if you are dating a jealous partner. If you really want to make it work, show your partner how faithful you are in the relationship.
“Don’t play games.” – Relationship requires commitment. Do not get into a relationship knowing that you would just break his or her heart after, like, six months.
“If you like somebody, call them.” – Sincerity is essential in a relationship. There are so many ways to stay in touch with the person you like, whether through phone calls, text messages, Facebook, and messaging apps among others. However, do not call too often to your partner while he or she is away, as if you are hovering over them like a spy drone. It is also important to give them some amount of space.
